I had been avoiding going to the dentist for way too long which only made my anxiety and dental health worse. I wanted to find a practice that would understand my anxiety and help me get back on track without embarrassing me. The team at Ember Dental Arts understood the assignment. 1. Making the appointment was easy. Alex at the front desk checked all my insurance information for me and asked “ is there anything else we can do to make your visit more comfortable?” That was huge. Also, I love that you can text the office. 2. Dr. Heather was kind and spent time talking with me about my concerns and letting me know how she would address them. She made a treatment plan to prioritize my care and best utilize my insurance to respect limited finances. Shout out to Kia who took my X-rays whose calm friendly nature helped my nerves. 3. Max then reviewed the plan with me and helped me understand financing options. I was really nervous and asked a lot of questions, but he didn’t make me feel rushed in making decisions. Other details such as the welcome sign in my exam room, the welcome tote bag with some fun products, and the calm comfortable atmosphere made this visit a pleasant surprise. You can sense that this is a newer practice and yet I will chose their intentionality, skill and service over any more “ established practices”.
